Leading UK investment management and financial planning group Tilney is pleased to announce that it has appointed Justin Ogilvie as Investment Manager in the company’s Bristol office. Ogilvie will be the first Investment Manager in Tilney’s Bristol office where there is a well-established financial planning team. The firm is looking to make further Investment Management hires in Bristol as part of its UK-wide recruitment drive.

Justin is an experienced and dedicated investment manager, with over 20 years’ experience. He started his career in institutional sales at Cazenove & Co and has since worked in private client investment management for Greig Middleton, which became Gerrard and then Barclays Wealth. Most recently, he was a senior investment manager at Smith & Williamson’ – a role he held for over nine years. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.

Alan Edwards, Head of Investment Management for England, commented: “Justin is a highly experienced investment manager and has considerable experience developing client relationships. The development of a local Investment Management presence in Bristol will help reinforce Tilney’s “two expert” approach to supporting clients with both financial planning advice and tailored investment management. As we look to expand our business, we will be looking for investment managers of the highest calibre.”
