Tilney Smith & Williamson hires new financial planner

Leading wealth management and professional services group Tilney Smith & Williamson is continuing to recruit new talent during the COVID-19 crisis. The latest addition is Shaf Hussain who joins the Chelmsford team as a financial planner for Tilney Financial Planning Ltd.

Shaf joins from Pinnacle Wealth Management, an appointed representative of St. James’s Place, where he spent four years as a financial adviser n focusing on advising City professionals, business owners and family clients. Shaf holds an Investment advice diploma from the Chartered Institute of Securities & Investments and is a graduate of the University of Kingston.

Prior to their merger in September 2020, both Tilney and Smith & Williamson successfully migrated to a remote working model ahead of the first lockdown in mid-March. Teams are currently working from home, with investment managers’ and financial planners having full access to group systems through secure technology.
