Nine funds granted Outstanding Achievement Awards

Investment and financial planning group Tilney Bestinvest has awarded nine funds Outstanding Achievement Awards in light of their holding a five star rating from the firm’s research team for the past five years.

The thirteen strong research team at Tilney Bestinvest rates funds across various asset classes and sectors from one to five stars and those funds given a rating of three or more stars feature in the company’s top rated fund list - ‘Premier Selection’. The nine funds which have been awarded Outstanding Achievement Awards by Tilney Bestinvest have maintained a five-star ‘Exceptional’ rating over five consecutive years and have seen consistency in their fund management teams.

Alongside statistical analysis of fund performance, Tilney Bestinvest’s research team tracks the performance of individual fund managers over their careers and conducts more than 400 face-to-face interviews every year. The team does this to determine whether the success of a fund is down to luck or skill.
