Mark Coles joins Tilney for Intermediaries

Tilney for Intermediaries, the discretionary investment manager that is exclusively for financial advisers, is pleased to announce that Mark Coles has joined the company as Director, Financial Intermediaries. Mark will be based in Tilney’s Birmingham office and will report into Miles Robinson, Head of Tilney for Intermediaries.

Mark has over 25 years’ financial services experience, 15 of which have been in asset management sales and distribution roles, working with advisory businesses, banks and building societies, research panels and providers of discretionary and model portfolios in the retail and charity investment sectors.

He joins Tilney for Intermediaries from Cofunds, where he was Head of Business Partnerships and accountable for the growth and development of Cofunds existing top tier key account customers. Before his role at Cofunds, Mark spent four years as Head of Business Partnerships at Architas, generating new business relationships with financial advisors. Previously, Mark was Investment Strategy Manager at AXA Wealth.

At Tilney for Intermediaries, Mark will work to strengthen both the existing relationships the firm has with firms of advisers as well as grow its presence with additional financial planning businesses. Mark holds the Certificate in Financial Planning and UKSIP Full Investment Management Certificate Papers 1&2.
