Evelyn Partners strengthens South of England financial planning presence with new Director

The UK’s leading integrated wealth manager and professional services firm, Evelyn Partners, is strengthening its presence in the South of England with the appointment of a new Financial Planning Director.

Matt Dickens will be a key member of the financial planning team, working predominantly from Evelyn Partners’ Bournemouth and Southampton offices.

Joining after more than a decade at The Ingenious Group, most recently as Senior Business Development Director, he brings extensive experience in both financial planning and investment management, with key strengths in Enterprise Investment Scheme, Venture Capital Trust and Business Property Relief solutions.

Matt’s focus will be helping private individuals to achieve their personal financial goals, in particular around mitigating inheritance tax, capital gains tax deferral, utilising income tax reliefs and passing on family money to those that matter the most.

As part of Evelyn Partners’ ‘dual expert’ approach, where clients have the option of being supported by both a financial planner and investment manager, Matt will work closely with the firm’s investment managers to provide a holistic wealth management service.

Prior to Ingenious, Matt also held portfolio management positions at Close Wealth Management and Fisher Wealth Management.
