Experience

William is a partner at Evelyn Partners specialising in Investment Management for charities and is Managing Director of Evelyn Parnters Investment Funds PLC, our Irish open-ended investment company (OEIC).

He joined Smith & Williamson in 1999 from the US private investment bank Bessemer Trust, where he was vice president of UK and European investments. Prior to joining Bessemer in 1992 he was an investment manager with Baring Brothers.

His previous experience includes five years with Henderson Administration and three years as the UK and continental European analyst for the Central Board of Finance of the Church of England.

Professional qualifications/memberships

Graduate of Reed College, Portland, Oregon, a member of the Chartered Financial Analysts (CFA) Institute and a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.
