Simon joined Smith & Williamson in 2008 from Barclays Wealth where he had spent 12 years managing a variety of funds, including corporate pension schemes, SIPPs, insurance societies, unit trusts and charities. Today at Smith & Williamson, Simon is responsible for the management of investment portfolios for a wide-range of clients, including private clients, pension funds, offshore bonds and charities.

Simon is a graduate in accounting from the University of Hull, an associate of the UK Society of Investment Professionals, a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment and is a member of the Chartered Financial Analysts Institute.
