Sarah Bruce

Sarah is a Chartered Chemical Engineer who has built up extensive industry experience in the oil and gas, and chemicals manufacturing industries. Before joining the world of R&D tax, Sarah worked in design, operational and process support roles. Since joining Evelyn partners, Sarah has capitalised on her professional and academic experience to effectively manage risk in R&D claims enabling her to prepare highly robust and defendable reports. She has built up a wealth of experience in leading a variety of claims, ranging from high-growth start-up businesses all the way up to large, complex international clients.

Sarah has an excellent technical understanding of the legislation and in addition to client delivery work, Sarah has been involved in preparing responses to many of HMRC’s consultations on the R&D regime, both historic and ongoing.

Explored areas of opportunity with large manufacturing businesses, resulting in a significant uplift in their R&D tax credits entitlement whilst ensuring there is no additional risk.

Work with clients to embed a culture of innovation by using innovation incentives to make strategic impact.
