Richard Whitehead

Experience

Richard joined Dart Capital in 2004, and has worked his entire career, spanning over 30 years, in Investment Management. His role has always been managing both teams and relationship-orientated family clients across a number of organisations.

Richard was born in Corbridge, Northumberland and was educated at Uppingham School. He obtained a BSC (Hons) from London University.

Notable client work and achievements

In 2008 Richard led the management buyout of Dart Capital from the previous owners in order to ensure the business and its proposition was more resilient. Dart Capital was acquired by Evelyn Partners in 2023 and the Dart team are a core part of the business going forward.

When Richard joined Dart Capital it had only £47m under management and under his leadership the desk has grown from strength to strength to over £800m.
