Philip is a discretionary investment manager of global, multi-asset investment portfolios for private clients, trusts, charities and private OEICs. He works closely with tax and financial planning professionals to ensure that all elements of a client's wealth are considered.
He is also an analyst with coverage of the Media & Entertainment sector for direct equities, and UK smaller companies for collectives.
Experience
Philip joined Smith & Williamson in 2019, following 6 years with Arbuthnot Latham Private Bank where he managed global multi-asset portfolios, was Chair of the Business Property Relief service, and lead analyst for Japanese equities.
Smith & Williamson merged with Tilney in 2020, and was later rebranded to Evelyn Partners, where Philip is an Associate Director of the Investment Management division.
Professional qualifications/memberships
Philip graduated from the University of the West of England with a BA(Hons) in Economics & Finance in 2013. He holds the CISI Chartered Wealth Manager Qualification and is a Chartered Member of the CISI.
