Financial statement audit, and related assurance. Focussing principally on AiM and Private Equity backed businesses across a range of sectors, with particular focus on technology, software and life sciences.

Experience

Mark has spent the majority of his career working with growing, dynamic clients across the Thames Valley. He's worked with businesses in both the UK and overseas, having spent time working in the US. Although he has worked with large listed clients, the binding characteristics of most of his clients is that they are fast-growing and entrepreneurial, and for the main are backed by private investors, private equity or are AIM-listed. He has worked with clients through the IPO process, both in the UK and the US, and through multiple fund raises and exits.

Mark particularly enjoys having the opportunity to share the experiences and knowledge he's gained from working with his clients to provide insights and challenge to other businesses on their own growth journey.

Internally Mark has spent significant time focussed on culture, coaching and team development.

Notable client work and achievements

Guiding growth businesses through their first audit process, and then through multiple funding rounds, acquisitions and, eventually, value realisation.
Working with multiple large, listed groups to ensure that complex accounts and the final audit are signed off within required deadlines.
