Experience
James manages discretionary portfolios on behalf of a wide range of private clients, trusts, charities and companies. He has a particular interest in managing portfolios for charities and helping Trustees to formulate ethical investment policies. He manages portfolios using a blend of asset types, targeting a variety of investment objectives and risk profiles.
James is a member of the firm’s Investment Process Committee and joined Smith & Williamson in 2007 having previously worked at Gerrard Investment Management. He became a Partner in 2014.
