Experience

Ian is head of fixed interest and also manages the Short-Dated Corporate Bond Fund.

Ian joined Smith & Williamson in 1997 as an institutional fund accountant, qualifying as a chartered certified accountant in 2001. He then assumed fund management responsibility for a variety of institutional funds.

Qualifications/memberships

  • BSc in human geography and an MSc in international business & economic development from the University of Reading.
  • Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI) and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder.
