Experience

Gavin started in the financial service arena in the late 1990’s and brings a wealth of experience in the pensions and investment markets. He works with financial intermediaries and planners proving technical guidance on pensions and offering their clients bespoke investment portfolios. Gavin is well placed to understand how to assist IFA businesses and advisers having worked as a tied financial adviser with Britannic Assurance, a large national independent financial adviser, and worked with a number of large life assurance companies, including 16 years with Aegon and LV= as a senior retirement consultant specialising in tax planning, investment & pension solutions for IFAs’ clients. In 2021, Gavin joined the business from Quilter Cheviot.

Gavin has specialist experience in occupational and personal pensions (including Self Invested Pensions), offshore bonds and trust planning solutions and is renowned for training sessions on these topics.

Gavin provides information, guidance, support, CPD training and development via a B2B relationship on specialist investment solutions, such as Tier 1 Investor Visas, specialist tax, AIM, American citizen investment specialism, group & individual SIPPs, SSASs, individual CGT management and developing trustee investments.
