Experience

Debbie has over 14 years of experience in investment management and focuses on managing bespoke portfolios on behalf of charities as well as pensions, trusts and high net worth individuals. She spent a number of years working in London, and New York before relocating back to Edinburgh. She has extensive experience in providing tailored portfolios to meet more complex requirements, including restricted and ethical portfolios.

Debbie sits on the Charities Committee and is a member of the direct equity research team.

Notable client work and achievements

Worked closely with Financial Planning to provide tailored solutions for business owners before and after exit, and worked with younger generations to ensure long term plan in place
Helped to produce and develop investment policy statements with a number of charitable funds, to meet strict ethical mandates, followed by the active management of those portfolios to ensure ongoing adherence.

Professional qualifications and memberships

Debbie is a Fellow of the Chartered Securities Institute and holds the CISI Diploma in Fund Management.
Debbie also holds the CFA Certificate in ESG Investing.
She sits on the board of two charities.
