Experience

David joined the original Smith & Williamson business as a graduate in 2007, eventually becoming a Partner in 2021. He manages a book of discretionary portfolios for a wide variety of private clients across a number of structures including GIAs, ISAs, SIPPs and trusts. He has a particular specialism of working with retired professionals.

David also works alongside one of Evelyn’s senior Partners in assisting on large, multi-generational family accounts. As part of the investment process he is lead analyst for the global retail sector, and for Japanese funds.

David is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI).
