Complaints and compensation
If you have any comments or concerns in connection with the Services, please contact the appointed insolvency practitioners in the first instance. However, if you do not wish to discuss the matter with the persons directly responsible for providing the Services to you, please contact our Head of Legal, by writing to 45 Gresham Street, London, EC2V 7BG or by telephone on 020 7131 4000.
We undertake to look into any complaint carefully and promptly. If we do not answer your complaint to your satisfaction, or should you not wish to follow the procedure outlined in the paragraph above, you may refer your complaint directly to the Insolvency Complaints Gateway which is operated by the Insolvency Service, an Executive Agency of The Department for Business and Trade, who will then refer your complaint to the relevant Recognised Professional Body.
Complaints can be made by email, telephone or letter as follows: i) emailing the completed complaints form to: ip.complaints@insolvency.gov.uk; ii) calling the Insolvency Service Enquiry Line on +44 300 678 0015 – calls are charged up to 12p per minute (approximate) from a land line; for mobiles, between 3p and 45p per minute (approximate) if you are calling from the UK; or iii) posting the completed complaints form to: The Insolvency Service, IP Complaints, 3rd Floor, 1 City Walk, Leeds LS11 9DA.
