Updating your Employment Tax Policies for the 2024/25 Tax Year

Bristol – Thursday 18 April 2024 from 9:00 to 10:30 (registration and refreshments will be from 8:30). The location is our Bristol office at 4th Floor, Portwall Place, Portwall Lane, Bristol (BS1 6NA).

The event will comprise of short technical update presentations led by Evelyn Partners, followed by facilitated conversations amongst those attending the event to explore the issues and how they are impacting organisations, so please come ready to discuss items of interest relating to your people!

The event will broadly encompass two key themes:

Preparing for 2024/25 and beyond – we will consider the detail of upcoming changes already announced and any key issues resulting from the Spring Budget, including:

• The ‘off payroll’ labour offset rules and how this may be a good opportunity to review processes.
• The increased NMW rate that takes effect from 1 April 2024, why it is important to consider more than the headline rate and are there employee populations that you never considered to be at risk for NMW purposes?
• Are you prepared for the ‘end of P11Ds’?
• Global mobility trends we expect to see in 2024, including the landscape around inpatriate regimes, targeted disputes activity from HMRC and international remote working.
• International share scheme considerations.
