After graduating from Cardiff University with a degree in business and subsequently completing a masters in newspaper journalism at Nottingham Trent University, Mark worked as a journalist in East Yorkshire, covering business and general news for the Hull Daily Mail. He then spent nearly a decade working for PR agencies before joining the Smith & Williamson (now Evelyn Partners) press team in 2017.

Jenny specialises in advising corporate clients on a variety of business tax matters, across a broad range of sectors. She has advised clients on a wide range of tax issues, including corporate transactions and restructuring and international issues. Jenny has worked businesses of all sizes – from growing entrepreneurial businesses to large listed groups and helps them achieve their commercial goals in a tax efficient manner.
Paul Duckworth

Paul has 25 years' experience in corporate tax advisory and compliance services to growing businesses. He has significant experience on intellectual property tax relief across all sectors, especially assisting businesses to identify research and development tax relief claims and to agree these with HMRC. He regularly deals with property issues, advising on capital allowances, as well as intellectual property issues, including considering amortisation policies.
Alistair Shaw

Alistair works with a range of businesses from small start-ups to large privately owned or publicly listed complex businesses. He also regularly works with businesses carrying out transactions or as they prepare for an exit/IPO.
