Paddy Brice

Paddy has worked in senior finance and leadership roles for over 20 years.

In the later living sector, he has been Managing Director of a number of businesses over the last 14 years. From 2009 to 2018 he oversaw the growth of Richmond Villages and its sale to Bupa. More recently he has been Managing Director of a newly created later living business, Opus, which is backed by Activum SG, a Pan-European real estate fund.

Prior to becoming MD at Richmond Villages, Paddy held the position of Finance Director where he oversaw the refinancing of the business just prior to the GFC. Before that, he was Finance Director of the largest operating company at Berkeley Homes from 2002 to 2006.

In his earlier career, Paddy gained both big and small company experience in a variety of finance roles, firstly as a Finance Manager for Dixons Carphone plc where he worked for 4 years, as Financial Controller of a start-up software company and in 2000 as Finance Director of an internet start-up company, Simplygames.

Paddy qualified as an ACA with Deloittes in 1995.
