Al Eadie

After a number of years in consulting and line finance roles in large bluechips (EY, WPP, Accenture, UBS, Aviva) Al downsized to smaller businesses first at MSCI and then to a small entrepreneurial startup called Greensill in 2015. Here he is drove hyper growth in the business, managing international expansion and product growth alongside acquisitions, due diligence/integration and equity raises. It was one of London’s first $1bn unicorns in 2018; however that accolade was short lived as a cocktail of rapid growth, covid impacts and fragile business model meant the party came to an abrupt and rather too public end despite heroic efforts to save it.
They say “what doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger”.

Al is now CEO of a Fintech in the working capital space and co-founder/CFO of an African carbon business alongside advising on a small portfolio of private investments.

Al initially trained as an engineer sponsored by Marconi (now defunct, sadly), holding a degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from Bath University and is also a qualified accountant and treasurer.
